Their combined experience has enabled Solace to develop products for intelligent information dissemination across local and wide-area networks in support of key applications and business processes
Executives

Craig Betts
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Betts founded Solace Systems with the vision of embedding application intelligence directly into networks. Specifically, Mr. Betts observed that hardening content infrastructure into lightning fast hardware would enable carriers and content service providers to offer highly scalable new revenue generating services and improve distributed communications for large enterprises. Mr. Betts is directly responsible for the global sales team and works closely with all other aspects of the business.
Prior to Solace, Mr. Betts was CEO of Waterfall Networks, vice president, technology at In-Touch Survey Systems and a project executive at IMRglobal (acquired by CGI Group). Mr. Betts holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Queen's University.

Wojo Zielonka
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Zielonka is responsible for all aspects of finance and administration operations, including financial reporting, tax planning, business planning and vendor relations.
Prior to Solace, Mr. Zielonka served as CFO and CIO of Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc. and managing director of GE's Global Treasury operation. He brings 17 years of experience in finance, general management and mergers and acquisitions to Solace. Mr. Zielonka is a Chartered Accountant and a CPA (Illinois) and holds a BA from Carleton University.

Jonathan Bosloy
Senior Vice President, Product Development and Operations
Mr. Bosloy is responsible for all aspects of product development, including engineering, product management and Q&A. Mr. Bosloy has also been responsible for spearheading the rapidly expanding portfolio of patents covering the company's intellectual property.
Prior to Solace, Mr. Bosloy was director of systems at Ceyba, a developer of optical networking equipment, and held senior engineering roles on ATM and IP products at Newbridge Networks. Mr. Bosloy graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor's degree in Systems and Computer Engineering.

Larry Neumann
Senior Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Neumann is responsible for all aspects of strategic, corporate and product marketing including vertical marketing, partner marketing and all marketing programs.
Before his affiliation with Solace, Mr. Neumann held executive marketing positions with TIBCO Software Inc. and Oracle Corporation and co-founded internet software company, inCommon, LLC (acquired by TIBCO). During his tenure at TIBCO, Mr. Neumann played a key role in planning company strategic direction relating to target markets, industry verticals and candidate acquisitions.
Global Field Operations

Crispin Clarke
Senior Vice President, Global Business Development & Asia-Pacific Operations
Mr. Clarke is responsible for business development activities at Solace Systems including solution partnerships, working with global distributors and channel partners. In addition, Mr. Clarke is responsible for all field operations in Asia-Pacific. Mr. Clarke brings 20 years experience and understanding of customer issues in financial services, telecommunications and other industries.
Before joining Solace, Mr. Clarke was regional director for TIBCO Finance in Canada and the Central US, has held senior positions in the venture capital industry and has assisted numerous start-ups with business and sales strategies. Mr. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bath and a Masters Certificate in management from the University of Warwick.

Eugene Hallinan
Vice President and General Manager, Americas
Mr. Hallinan is responsible for leading the development of customer relationships throughout the Americas. Mr. Hallinan brings 16 years of experience in the telecommunications & IT sectors working with leading multi-national carriers as well as equipment manufacturers.
Before joining Solace, Mr. Hallinan was the area sales manager for Cisco Systems in EMEA and led a team selling Cisco's service offerings in North America. Mr. Hallinan has also held executive roles at Equant Network Services, MFS Communications and Cabletron Systems. Mr. Hallinan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Clarkson University and an AS degree in Business Administration from State University of New York.

Yves Nicolas
Vice President and General Manager, EMEA
Mr. Nicolas is responsible for overseeing successful customer deployments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Nicolas brings to Solace more than 18 years experience working with companies to improve how networking and IT support their business.
Prior to joining Solace, Mr. Nicolas led the sales and marketing teams for Inventel - a privately owned wireless communications equipment company in France, that was later acquired by Thomson Multimedia. Mr. Nicolas also held senior positions within Cosine overseeing operations with leading European companies such as Equant, Cable and Wireless, Mannesmann Arcor and BT-Albacom. Mr. Nicolas is a graduate of L'Ecole Polytechnique and L'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris, France.

Bill Jackes
Vice President, Financial Markets
Bill Jackes has over 18 years experience in a variety of systems engineering and sales management roles. Most recently Bill led the Solace sales efforts in North America with a focus in the finance and telco service provider markets. Prior to joining Solace, Bill held senior account management positions - most notably with Cisco where he worked extensively in the service provider market supporting large Canadian service providers. Prior to that Bill held key account management roles at PixStream until it was acquired by Cisco. Mr. Jackes holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University.

Denis King
Vice President, Systems Engineering
Mr. King is responsible for all customer engagements from a technical and operational perspective. As VP, Systems Engineering, Mr. King is in charge of understanding customer technical requirements and ensuring successful customer implementations.
As the first systems engineer at Solace, Mr. King was instrumental in helping customers around the world plan and deploy content-aware networking solutions. Prior to joining Solace Systems, Mr. King was a hardware designer for IP Routers, ATM Switches and control plane infrastructure at Newbridge Networks. Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
